Christmas 2011

Friends and Family,

As we approach the new year, I wanted to take a minute to remember 2011 and thank each and everyone of you for being a part it.
It has been a year full of laughter, fun and plenty of wonderful memories as Kevin and I celebrated our 1 year together.
It never ceases to amaze me how the Lord blesses us and I am so thankful for my husband, and all he brings to my life.
We continue to live in our apartment, fighting away mice, battling space issues, and sharing laundry facilities. Though we have had our challenges, we have also made this our "home".
I'm reminded that a house is just a building but a home is where you make it, the memories you create is what makes this tiny apartment special for both of us.
We have built wonderful friendships with our new Church family and we both feel so blessed so be a apart of Bible studies and small groups. Calvary has been so great to us, and we look forward to Sundays so we can worship our Lord and love on our friends!

I started a new job, one that I never expected but have grown to appreciate and love. My co-workers make me laugh on a regular basis and I'm learning so much everyday.
Kevin continues to work hard everyday, never complaining or whining but always doing whats best for our family. In this time of hardship for so many, we feel thankful to have steady jobs that provide for us.

As we have entered the busy time of year, I pray that you can all find the true peace that passes all understanding.

To all of our friends and family, thank you for loving us, praying for us, and being a part of our lives!
We are so thankful for you, and love you all so much!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Tuesday, December 6

Wonderful.

I know I go months between blog posts, but thats okay because even though I might be the only one reading it I still LOVE going back to my old posts, and reliving memories.
I've been pinteresting it up tonight and I came across this.

It was just the reminder I needed.
I know nothing about life is perfect..for if it was, we wouldn't look forward to Heaven. I am just so thankful that in all the imperfection, there is always something wonderful.

December is such a busy month, and its easy to get distracted with all the craziness...I am going to do my best to choose to only focus on the wonderful things in life, because there are SO many of them.
